Recreate the sound of The White Lotus series

HBO's dark comedy series, The White Lotus follows the intricate stories of wealthy guests and hotel staff at a luxury resort. The irresistible drama is soundtracked by striking opening theme music, capturing a unique blend of humour and uncertainty.

The White Lotus theme music across all three series was created by Universal Production Music's Emmy award-winning film composer, Cristobal Tapia de Veer. The soundtrack features various instruments, including a South American string instrument called the charango, drums, piano and percussive elements. Cristobal also combined tribal chants and bird sounds to convey the exotic, unsettling atmosphere of the island resort.
