Andrew landed his first commission in 1990 aged 17 for the computer games industry. Having spent the decade prior studying music and how to program 8-bit machines, it seemed an obvious fit.

He continued to score games whilst studying music at university and went on to become the first in-house composer at a games company and later struck up a writing partnership with the company’s next in-house composer, Paul Arnold. After working together on all manner of audio disciplines; from composing scores to VO recording (and much more), they decided it was time for a new challenge and formed an eclectic composing duo ‘Bob and Barn’ in 2001.

Andrew and Paul’s interest in scoring projects outside of the games industry led them to pick up awards for best film scores: (‘Palos’ & ‘Green Street 3’) and TV (‘Chronicles of Syntax’) and now they divide their time between both industries.

Andrew has amassed a diverse list of over 60 games credits including the BAFTA nominated ‘Primal’, GANG & ELAN nominated ‘MediEvil’, ‘Brink’, ‘Neverwinter Nights’, ‘Sega Rally’, ‘Kung Fu Chaos’ and in 2016 was invited to score one of Sony’s VR launch titles ‘RIGS: Mechanized Combat League’.

Together, Andrew and Paul have worked on the following projects in 2018:

Commercials – “BP” & “Stella Artois” Xmas 2018 campaign.
TV – “Man vs. Robot” for Fox America / BBC Worldwide & “Dead Pixels” for Various Artists / C4.
Film – “MSND” dir. Sacha Bennett / Parkhouse Pictures, a contemporary re-imagining of Shakespeare’s ‘a Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Game – An unannounced PS4 project for Sony America, stay tuned!
