Deddy has over 20 years of experience working in Los Angeles, Europe, Latin America and China. He has composed, conducted and produced music for films, television shows, video games, concert halls and new media.

His collective credits include: ‘The Golden Compass’, ‘Transformers’, ‘The Avengers’, ‘Digimon’, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, ‘Lost Planet’, ‘The Bachelor’, ‘Addams Family’ and many more. Deddy’s music has been featured on well-known TV shows including as ‘The Big Bang Theory’, ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’, ‘TMZ’, ‘MAD’ and a variety of CNN specials. In recent years, Deddy has worked with the leading Chinese filmmakers and producers, such as ‘Hot Blood Band’, a comedy feature starring the Chinese pop singer Chen Xiang, and ‘Impossible’, a Sci-Fi film featuring top film stars Wang Bao-qiang, Da Peng and Xiao Shenyang.

Born in the Netherlands, raised in Israel, educated in the US and conversational in several languages, Deddy has proudly developed an international career and an appreciation for a wide range of musical styles. Deddy is most comfortable working with full orchestras and he has composed and conducted for musicians from The Prague Philharmonic and the Beijing, Jerusalem and Seattle Symphony orchestras. Deddy has been giving seminars and lectures about music in Films in several universities as well as professional conferences in the US, China, Italy, UK and Israel.

Deddy has been working closely with writers, directors and producers in the US, Europe and China to develop co-production projects both for TV and Film. A member of BMI, ASCAP, & IMRO music societies, Deddy is also the Director of Development of the China Hollywood Society, a network of entertainment professionals who actively nurture opportunities for cross-cultural creative and business endeavors.

Deddy has founded and operated the non-profit International Young Composers competition, and the FRIENDLY SMILE ALLIANCE, an organization helping children in rural parts of Vietnam
