Director Johannes Olszewski
Johannes Olszewski is an award-winning producer and director with 15 years’ experience filming slackline & highline projects around the world. As a director and professional athlete, Olszewski has cultivated a passion for translating gripping adventures into visually outstanding stories.
Aged 21, Olszewski shot his debut film ‘Mind on Wire’ for Red Bull Ultimate Rush in Yangshuo China. In 2020, his documentary ‘The Making of Building Bridges’ and narrative short film ‘Building Bridges’ were awarded by numerous film festivals including the Munich Film Awards and Manhattan Film Festival.
He later directed and produced the campaign film ‘More Than Just a Cup’ for McCafé At Home x RMHC, featuring Alexander Schulz. Olszewski’s projects have also taken him across the globe - from his home country Germany to Cañón del Sumidero in Mexico, the Mongolian desert and the island of Helgoland in the North Sea.
